Hi,

Feel free to read my trials and tribulations on a mid-production Normandy Tiger at:

In my view it is certainly worthwhile. The BB shooter was certainly fun for the first few months, but once you lengthen the barrel it loses its power anyway.

There's nothing quite like seeing the barrel recoil and flash (make sure you get a flash unit) along with a satisfying 'kaboom!'.

I got mine from Welshdragon and he was as helpful as he could be - but I had to search around and ask a lot of questions to get it working. Hopefully you can learn from my mistakes...

I say if you get one complete with the mantlet should make it a bit easier install. I had a metal Mato mantlet which didn't quite fit the recoil bits.

Overall it is worth it as looks great. Only thing I say is I badly rolled the tank and the barrel took the weight of my 6kg tiger and bust it. Managed to repair it but not convinced at how well it will last with knocks on the barrel etc.
