Hobby Engine Leopard 2a6

Post by Spartan Mart »

I want a leopard but cant afford the £1000 Tamiya.
I've seen these Hobby Engine ones for around £60-£100 or the premium one for £169.
The basic one is...well basic, one speed, no frills.
Has anyone seen/had one of either type, whadya think?

My boy picked one up..they are poor..very poor. They will need a shed load of money spent on them.
If you would say what parts need changing or new parts to buy. I would have to say just about all. Even the shell is a poor cast.

If your after a cheap modern tank check out the HL ztz 99. At moment think it is the basic plastic running gear but give it time like all other HL models there will be upgrades available for it.

I've seen that but I'm not keen on it, why on earth didn't they make a more popular model? :O

Am the same as you..I didn't like the look of it either. Just not my cup of tea,as they say.
