SUPER PERSHING

Post by HERMAN BIX »

I finally got hold of it.
Tamiya with really well done conversion to the prototype Super Gun version of the Pershing.

I need to get a receiver into it so I can get it running but it ran well last I saw it.
The only Western Allies tank I will ever have.

This is a unique model of a unique tank: as far as I know, only one was used at the very end of WWII. There is some fine weathering on the model, and I see a few correct items that are not on the HengLong or Taigen/Torro Pershings.

That seems a little extreme.

Nice Super Pershing! I do like Tamiya's drive system on their Pershing. Not sure if the use it on any of their other offerings.

Yip. The second to last one out of them all.
Had loads of stuck gunk in the running gear that I’ve cleaned out, but other than that it’s ready to run up.
Has a couple of broken minor bits that I will eventually get repaired but nothing terrible.
