This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

Your friend is a very skilled painter, Mr. Bix.

Mike.

Yes Mr Coleman he certainly is. He has a collection of figures that is so vast and relevantly expensive it would blow our minds.
Talking hundreds.
The reference material in way of dozens hardcover books, thousands of pictures, just on uniforms, and everything related, then the armour reference books and pictures...............hes very dedicated to the cause!!!!!

I found some photos of Wehrmacht horseshoes, drew one up in about half an hour.

I'll print some off when I change the resin out later this week.

And these magnificent tiny treats arrived today thanks Mr Raminator
I will select one and get it painted & mounted asap.

And without further ado...............

(still drying, but you get the idea :/
Sure is a welcome accessory & now I can call this done,
There’s a slim chance of a pin wash , but other than that, after years, it’s completed

Icing on the cake, or horse shoe on the fender...

Nice benchmark job Mr. Bix!

Nice benchmark job Mr. Bix!

Thanks Mr Ecam , it’s oddly satisfying to finally get a PzIV with Schurzen which overall despite flaws in the basic accuracy, is a pretty cool looking model.
I reigned in too much mongrel in it which was not an easy thing by the way !
Happy to add it to the collection.

Helmet on the schurzen
Tracks run in
Outside of a riding soldier or two it’s done.

Full skirted PzIV representing a vehicle involved in the 4th Battle of Kharkov, 14 August 1943.

Wow mister Bix! 6 years in the making was totally worth it. It looks fantastic from the horseshoe to the figure!
I love all the stuff that brings life to the model. Well done!
