D-Day. A very British Tiger

I’m asking your views on whether you think the blue for A squadron is too dull. It is barely visible in the house, but out side it is slightly more noticeable. I’m wondering whether to paint it out and put a white coat on first?
The photo was taken outside, in natural, but dull daylight.

I'd be happy with that colour. It stands out nicely, but not in an electric blue way. A good muted tone.

In that picture, to me, I think it is perfect. If it changes in various lighting, I would lean toward subtle rather than bold anyway.

On a side, how the heck did you do that? Crisp straight lines of a decal, but clearly looks like paint?!? Nice work!

I also agree with Mike and Eric, it looks good. I wouldn't mess with it more, I'd be happy with that there.

Stencils from our own Rad on this site.

Put the Squadron number on tonight, and got the crew loosely fitted. Just have to do the fox head.

Good grief those look amazing! I guess I don't quite understand how these stencils work. I've used cardboard/paper/tape to make stencils in the past but nothing came out so crisp as these.

Anyway great work, my new standard of what markings should look like.

I have all sizes and kinds of U.S. star decals, but just a day or two ago, I contacted Rad about making me an assortment. You can't beat 'em!
