Nifty! How did you make it?
Re: Barbed wire roadblock
The metal thread is from my work and is 2 pieces twisted together.
Then it's sticks from the garden and just a little paint.

Re: Barbed wire roadblock
Rad and RKRC: Plombendraht would be "sealing wire" or even "plumbing wire." That is a type of wire with which I am unfamiliar, so I checked with Professor Google. It is a wire with finer wire wrapped around it. There are not barbs at all, but maybe a good enough simulations set in the right diorama.
I asked because because the wire seems as if it has barbs, just like the famous/infamous US wild west tamer, "barbed wire" (das Stacheldraht) and would thus be useful for dioramas.

Sealing wire is great. It looks good but don't have sharp points so it will not scratch your hand or model. It is sold in rolls of 300m (1 kg). It costs less than 10 euros and one is enough for a lifetime

Well, where's the fun in that?!
Actually, that's also a really good imitation of razor wire/concertina wire (barbed wire's crazier, meaner cousin) that they put around trenches, and atop prison walls and fences.
