A small picture of the prototype M9 3d printed trailer complete after spraying and matting the paint down




All wheels on bearings and swing axles work, it rides very nicely offroad
Practiced a few times with tanks driving on and off, takes a little practice

Also working on a mount for the LCM aswell as they used the Rogers trailer to transport above ground

Also we have now received the aluminium top deck panels which we contracted out, so the next built trailer will have metal chassis rails and top deck so can support the weight of the heavier models

Am working on some additional details for the trailer as i do eventually want to make a 1/6 version

The LCM3 also had a wooden frame designed so they could haul the landing craft across land using the M9 trailer & a Diamond T or similar prime mover

This would look good behind my mammoth with the firefly on, or the Cromwell when it’s eventually built

Still think we will be offering these as self build kit
The top deck is formed with correct angle using our own diy former

Frame 3dprinted and slots together and is solvent welded

The frame also then bolts to the top deck and you can also superglue in place for a stronger bond of top and lower piece

Top deck slots in over the lower chassis to help binding of 2 components when glued

The small front top piece has alu profile sections which bolt thru into top deck to add extra strength and rigidity

If interest strips supply, that is not a problem, we can always order in more laser cut metal pieces

The metal components is not limited to top deck and the top piece sections, the hinges for the rear ramps and lots of other small flat detail parts are laser cut also.
This trailer unit is a hefty piece of kit, somewhere in the region of 1.5-1.8kg
