Off to the races again we go...
Some treats for Herman Bix in the following pics.
A little thread locker for good measure when running them out in the world.
Things start moving too quickly for me at this point.
Ready for whats coming next...

Good Morning!
Impressive work so far! Don't forget a Convoy slit cover mod for that HL style frogeye headlight. Following along!

Yes sir. And I thought a little dazzle of color made it interesting. Autumn/Fall it is. Nice link.HERMAN BIX wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2023 9:27 am AAAaaaaaahhhhhhhh...........the inner wheels are painted

Thank you for the kind words. My work is nothing in comparison to yours, or Mr. Bix and others here.PainlessWolf wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2023 1:22 pm Good Morning!

Both you and he have a hatred fixation on the HL light and I see why, it's fugly compared to the proper looking light on my Taigen and definitely not accurate. Do you or he have a suggestion for a convoy cover besides replacing it with a Taigen one? At this point the ship has sailed with changing out the whole light and I learned how to solder on those wires so it'd a shame to rip them out as well.
Ahh well something to do on my next model.
Thanks for the continued support guys.

Most of us grind or saw the bubble flush with the housing and add a lens cover to it. Cheap and fairly effective.

Re: Panther G Redux
Well as for HengLong, I have in the waiting a Sherman and a KV-2, both with HengLong metal upgrades. (I also have an IDF Merkava as well as some other contemporary tanks, none likely to have ever been in winter camouflage.) Would either the KV-2 or Sherman work for you?
"Heck anyone could join us." I was thinking--and hoping--the same. Maybe you and I could decide on the tank and then start a dual build thread, but advertise it as open for others, too.
I favor "the best you can on the cheap...budget would only apply to the tank, not paint and products...[has to be] a functional RC tank." In fact, I would be in favor of "finishing products only," i.e. not extra metal or 3D parts. I say this because I want to keep my hobby spending under control. (He says, ) I am open to your ideas on this fun.
