Tamiya cannon elevation mechanism?

Post by Jofaur86 »

:)
Hello, in the case of reusing the canon elevation mechanism, Tamiya, with another electronics? (Elmod or others) concerning the two existing stops, is it possible to limit the stroke of the arm? or is there a modification to be made, thank you in advance, for the help

You can limit the movement with your radio. Is as easy as limiting the % of signal you want to send.
My RC tanks website, loads of free info for everybody:

Re: Tamiya cannon elevation Servo

Post by Jofaur86 »

:) Good morning,
this is how i replaced the Tam system. for the barrel elevation of the Sherman, by a servo. Adapt a small ABS plate on an existing support, pay attention to the hole for fixing the toothed wheel, fixed with 2 small screws, mini servo fixed with double-sided tape, aligned with the pate d origin, and reuse of the existing and unmodified rear ball joint control, works very well, just the clearance to be adjusted. Nothing complicated
