As a kit costing over a $1,000 and you provide the electrics I cannot say I am surprised at the lack of interest.
I think I am about to upset someone

Re: DKLM RC M103A2
I doubt "boutique" tanks will ever be cheap, but I love the fact that people are making all kinds of models of tanks now. As industrial 3D printing matures, the prices for these tanks might go down. I'm sure there were a lot of hours into designing, printing, and engineering this tank. Even with the high price, I doubt Carson is making a lot of money on these since they are not printed by DKLM. They are printed by a third party. He must then get the tank shipped to him and he does some work to it prior to sending it off to the customer.

I'm with you on that one tankme.
It is a lot of money, but if we want to see tanks that are too niche to warrant proper injection molds being made for them, then they simply are going to be more expensive than your average Heng Long Tiger.
The M103 in particular is a rather finicky tank too. Lots of complex curves and shapes everywhere.

Re: DKLM RC M103A2
When I was about 8 or 9 years old, my family was in a vehicle going across the Marine Corps base at Camp Pendleton. My father had to stop the car for a few minutes at a tank crossing, and I was able to stand outside the car as three M-103's rumbled across the road right in front of me. I know I was pretty small at the time, but those things were positively HUGE! It made an impression that has never left me. I joined the Marines in 1971 hoping to be a tanker, but by that time they had already been phased out of service, (as well as the M50 Ontos, which was my second love). I'm glad to see that someone is making it, although I don't think it will ever be in my price range.

Yes, and that one definitely WILL be in my price range! No more Renwal and Academy Ontos kits for me!
