Mato sherman painting

Post by Kyoz84 »

For those that have painted a MATO sherman or maybe any sherman at that. Did you unassembled the suspension? I stripped out a screw due to the soft metal and trying to figure out the best way to just paint without taking it apart. Ill use primer in a can and airbrush the paint.. so really just need assistance with the best way to mask the bearings I guess if anyone has pictures of their masking work that'll help a bunch. Thank you.

I usually pull the bogies but it is possible with them still attached. I'd recommend that after the primer, use a brush to reach hard to get to areas, then air brush the top coat.
