1/16 ww2 truck
1/16 ww2 truck
Seen this advertised and I think it's cool and might be interested but wanted to ask here for opinions first.
It's up for £50. Is this a good price? Has some boxes and logs in the back.

Re: 1/16 ww2 truck
They are quite cheap new on Banggood or E-Bay and they upgrade well,
I bought a couple of 5th wheels from Will (WCP) and converted one into an articulated tractor that now tows a converted Bruder Low Loader.
It is easy and cheap and with a little work can be made either Russian or German or American,
If you get some Stencils from Rad you will bring it to life.

NAB!
Good evening. Get yourself a stock one and build it to your own specs as Jarndice suggests! ;o) There is a ton of great ideas and parts floating around to source from. Here is a pic of the same truck as above in Soviet Lend Lease livery towing an artillery piece. The original truck was manufactured by International Harvester and shipped to the Soviets who, after the War, used it as a template for some of their GAZ truck line.
regards,
Painless

Dont buy the secondhand (as everybody already said )
@Painlesswolf, that truck looks very cool with the correct rims on it
Did you only paint the wood, or replace it as I saw in a thread here?

Re: 1/16 ww2 truck
Rob,
That CCKW file is only any good for very small scales, the polygon count is too low for 1/16
Cheers
