Special Forces ( French )
Really took to this film although it is in French and subtitles, basically the team has to rescue a journalist from Afghanistan and get her out. If you get the chance to watch it please do so, I watched it on Netflix.

Thanks for the recommendation, but what's the actual title of the film? A search on Netflix under 'special forces' revealed serveral films, but not one styled as 'Special Forces' (France)- or French Special Forces.

It's available of Amazon (as 'Forces Speciale'), though the reviews are somewhat mixed.
It's almost worth it just to gaze at the elegant German actress, Diane Kruger (she of Helen of Troy fame). She represents genuine human eye-candy...IMO.
