Re: Gun elevetion inop
Just had a look on the tankzone website at the sturmtiger, good image but not possible to check the wires, I have another
torro sturmtiger which is pristine and as yet has not been interfered with, so will check that over tomorrow
regards john

Cheers mick, thank you.
Re: Gun elevetion inop
I assume the MFU you're using is a TK60? (Seeing you used my diagram )
Please check all soldering, as the soldering is spotty at best.
You do hear the elevation sounds?
Maybe solder the elevation wiring directly to the Upper hull connector?
Something I always do is to connect the 8-pin turret connector so the red and black wire corresponds with the MFU turret rotation pins. (Basically just swap the cable)

Re: Gun elevetion inop
I'm guessing that if you can establish consistent electrical continuity all the way from the MFU to the elevation motor, then the fault must be in the MFU. Maybe a dry joint, or wonky connection pins on the unit.
Good luck, Ludwig. By the way, is the MFU a Clark TK60, as Code501 assumed?

Re: Gun elevetion inop
John if you plug a wire lead from the Tk60 to the two pins that energize the function you are looking for and plug it directly into the elevation motor does it function? Eliminate the 8 pin connector for now.
I use a spare motor with leads on it to test in this case. Could just be a loose wire or dodgy lead.
Do you have continuity in each wire lead of the 8 pin wire harness?
Have you checked the condition of the upper hull connector for continuity?
Sorry if I've repeated anything that may have been mentioned earlier.

Hi 43rd and carl and thank you for your input, yes its a tk60 from stian. its sounds superb, back to the problem. first
I am going to try another upper hull to check what happens and take it from there, will post findings later.

Re: Gun elevetion inop
Hi all, I have had another look at the problem this afternoon and really am no further forward, tried fitting another
upper hull, all worked apart from the elevation, the elevation noise still sounds, I ran a two wires from the 8 pin plug with wires and tested the bare wire ends which put out 7.6ish when using the elevation function, as soon as I connect the elevation motor or indeed any other working motor its dead with nothing on the voltmeter, being a sturmtiger I could swap
over rotation/elevation as the rotation is limited in its movement,

Re: Gun elevetion inop
Hi, will try that later and swap the flysky over to the one on my jagdtiger also fitted with tk60.
Re: Gun elevetion inop
Could you maybe do a video of the board operating? Maybe also taking a picture of your TK60 might help us more.
As far as you describe the problem (and me understanding it ), it still leaves me quite stumped......
