IBU3 quality sound files for Jagdpanther?

Post by Despotes »

Hi fellow tankers, I'm waiting for my Jagdpanther Metal Edition from RCTank.de to arrive along with the IBU3 from the UK. I read that the standard audio files aren't the best quality and I can't even find any for the Jagdpanther. Where can I get the best quality sound files for my jagdpanther?
Also, is the BEIER sound module suppose to have superior sound? If it does, can it be used along with the IBU3?

Thanks

Bier sound is about the same as the ibu3, think tankbear and maxsollie have done suitable sounds for the jagdpanther. Remember with the ibu3 you can mix and match engine, cannon and mg files. So you can just use a panther sound set with the 88mm cannon sound.

Did they give up updating the sound files for the IBU3? I can't even find Panther engine sound files let alone anything specific for the Jagdpanther. :(

You could try downloading the Elmod library, and using their legacy files which I think are in unprotected .wav format. You can't use the NextGen files as they will only run on the Fusion boards. You'll need to change the file names to what the IBU is expecting to see.

Won't work ibu3 uses higher quality sound files. And different playing structure.

The Jagdpanther uses the King Tiger and Tiger engine sound files?
Is there a way to convert them to WAV so I can sample them real quick?
