Sound skipping

Post by Wolverine Tanker »

I just recently bought an Ibu2 basic sound module and a Tarr smoke unit and a remote volume control. I really like the sounds but it seems to skip. When I accelerate or decelerate the sound skips on the engine sound. I have a stock taigen speaker could that be it? I plan on getting the TPA with the two speakers and another remote volume control but I hope this can be remedied. I haven't got on my computer yet with my SD card. Could that be It ? I'm looking for help...

Which sound set are you using? Some "fit" together better than others

That's pretty normal, there's a limitation of the IBU2 where it will stop playing one engine sound before starting to play the next one it needs (whether it's the revup sound or the next engine loop or whatever). It's more obvious with some soundsets than others, but it's unavoidable really. I spent more time than I should have trying to make a T-34 soundset that could transition smoothly, but it'd always have those little hiccups.

you can do at perfect job on mixing a soundset, but it darn hard to edit out that micro gap on the ibu2

not 100% the same soundset, but you get the idea
