Don't own any Taigens ... yet lol... but if I were to get one... I wouldn't mess around... and just go with the High end model it costs like maybe 150 dollars more...but has more metal components slightly better gearboxes (because it's heavy) 20lbs+....so well worth the additional cost IMO.... I have spent the last few hours online and I think I have narrowed my search down to 2 tanks
IMAX Taigen tiger 1 early version, but I cannot decide if I should get the basic model or the all metal, I want metal tracks and could upgrade the basic one , but I suspect it would end up cheaper in the long run just getting the metal one to start? I am not bothered about a metal turret but metal chassis seems more durable? I am going to get the IR version not airsoft one, I can't see using airsoft and battling w IR seems cool. Any suggestions or advice appreciated. Cheers Mark
