New Heng Long Anti-Tracks Recoil unit

New ! As if Heng Long would fix their design flaws ( namely the tracks recoil system ) ...

The fact of the matter is that they had an Anti-Tracks Recoil unit and we didn't know about it ...Neither did they ....

The mod is quite simple : I just use an extra RX-18 board hooked-up to the power supply and the receiver signal ; to power the main motors only ...( I also send a signal to my smoke unit )...

This configuration not only disable the tracks recoil on the main motors ; but it also allows me to fire the main gun on the move ...

Yes I am ...
The main board is a new RX-18 and the extra board is an RX-18 with a blown sound card ( but the motor drive section is still working ) ...So i'm kind of recycling at the same time ...
As you know , it's the sound of the gun that triggers the tracks recoil on the RX-18 ...
I'm using the upper left control to trigger the recoil and the sound of the gun as per the mod. on the old RC Command site ...But since this is hooked -up only on the main board ; the extra board doesn't receive that trigger signal and therefore it doesn't affect the motors ....Don't know why nobody has tough of that before .??

This is a simply brilliant mod to remove the crazy tank jerk when firing. I think I have a couple RX-18's in my spare parts bin to use for this mod.

For those among you who don't like the idea of welding wires between the 2 RX-18 boards ; Just use 2 "receiver main board " harnesses and splice them together ...

Rite going to be thick now from as far as I understand you connect the extra board in and don't use it just ignore it and have your bits plugged in as normal am I correct in thinking this

The only things you connect to the extra board are the main motors ( Right & left )...
