Tank crew and infantry

Post by Panzerman »

Finally finished some tank crew and infantry for my previously built Tamiya Panthers.
(See Tale of two cats thread below)

Not real keen on putting figures together let alone painting them however I really like
how they bring life to armour models.

The figures come with the Tamiya Panther A, I also have an Academy 1/25th Jagdpanther which
I plan to build next, this kit also has figures so with a bit of chopping and changing you can come
slightly different groups. I mount my figures on a sheet of 2mm clear plastic sheet with a pin
sized hole up one leg, I then glue a pin to the sheet but don't glue it to the figure. This has a few
advantages, you can pick them up by the sheet and not do damage, you can move the figures
position and the direction they are looking, finally you can cover the sheet with dirt and hide it
when you want to take pic's!

I am not 100% sure the uniforms or equipment are correct, so would like to hear what everyone thinks?

Great job on the figures Panzerman, we all know how hard it can be to make them look realistic and these are some of the best i've seen

If there is one skill that I wish that I had, but sadly do not, it is the ability to paint figures. Anyone who can do this has my utmost admiration!
