cut out with sewing thread and evergreen tube(the White stuff :D ;) ;D ;D) for the hatch hinge a couple of hours work for both and your good ;) ;D ;D

started back on the pershing today, [went to the pub friday night got rather tankerd] ,  started by cutting out the front hatches, then adding some better handles to the side boxs, also the rear grill cover handles are in the wrong place ,so i made some out of steel wire and brass sheet, then positioned them in the correct place

yes same way as fv432 described earlier, with plastic rod , when i can find some the correct diamiter

ive done a bit more to the pershing , hinged the driver and machine gunner hatches and added the periscope guards  , and lengthened the barrel by adding a 30mm length of tube , i found a pen that was spot on.

time for a basecoat of paint, first i added a cast effect to the turret mantle and front hull using acetone ,then gave it a coat of lifecolor ua220 olive drab
