Wiring up a new shooting unit

Post by Merlin707 »

Hi guys,

Need some electrics advice please.

If possible does anybody know how to wire up a heng long shooting unit?

It already has the 2pin black and red wire attached, it's the wires that go from the switch and motor that I am unsure where they go.

Any diagrams or pictures would be most helpful.

Merlin,
This is in German but it should be easy to figure out from the excellent schematic for the HL air soft system.

Hi Alpha yes it's for my Shermidog, want it to work so I get the noise and flash from my flash unit.

OK...will try and take mine apart and get some pics ;) no guarantees that they will be the same though... HL does seem to be transitioning to a new system ...think your chassis is a different gen. ;)

OK Merlin not sure this will help much...this is my Panther ...it has recoil
Lets start with the RX
Image
the "RED" will signify all the connections to the secondary board

Image
The main line is unmarked ...it connects to the 11 pin board....where it separates and goes into the turret is orange

Image
The yellow is the on /off firing switch...the wires with the "X" are for the fire safety light..ignore those...the wires coming from the 11 pin board connect to the motor and elevation unit with one jumper ..usually a black wire going to the third board marked in blue ...the baby blue mark is were the trigger point switch is

Image
just another shot.. but you can see the wires a little better

Image
Here you can see the point switch "BABY BLUE" one wire goes to the on/ off firing the other to the motor

Image
Another shot different angle the third board handles the flash bulb and fire saftey light...then connects to the secondary board which goes back to your RX

That's it...pretty sure it isn't going to help much as I think yours has a different system

GOOD LUCK Merlin
