today you are going to modify the lifting points.
They are used to hook up the turret for removal with a crane.
There are three points.
One at each side of the turret and one on the back of the turret.
At the HL they are not done well and the one in the back is missing.
There are several possibilities to solve this problem.
Let’s see, what you can do.
This is how they should look like:
And that’s the way they come with the HL.
First of all you can see the gap between the inside and the outside.
Please fill it up. Don´t care about the hole in the center.
Just ignore it. You´ll see why.
Then make sure, that you renew the two holes. A 1mm drill should do good work here.
Attention here: The holes must be in Position 12 and 6. I did it wrong on the picture. There they are in position 9 and 3. See original picture.
The only things that are missing are the two plates at the pin.
You can buy them. They look like this.
Then glue them to the head of the pin.
Or you make them on your own. Just take a small piece of 1mm poly and......
The third possibility is to use swivel parts.
Therefore you need the center hole.
Well, after you took care of the ones at the front, what is with the third one at the back?
Because the elevation device is directly under this position, you have to improve a little bit.
Take a 2,5mm drill, drill three holes in shape of a "T" and grind it to its final shape.
Take the head of a nail or the third pin from the swiveled ones and glue it to the hole.
Maybe you need a little adjusting work.
The result is not very pretty, but better than nothing.
