Taigen metall-lowerhull T34

Post by Guido Henn »

Hello,

i want to give some infos about the taigen metall-lowerhull.

how to install the new chain tensioner for Taigen T34 lowerhull?????

here I want to give you information for the installation, i think it should be possible for every modeller to install the system.

Step 1:

Disassembly of the nose plate

Step 2: Enhance the 5mm hole in the lowerhull on 10mm.

Stept 3: Prepare the side walls of the lower hull to accommodate the Bushes.
This is very good to do with a Dremel, and / or with a wide metal file.

Step 4) drill the holes for mounting the bushes .

for this the you can use clamping drilling as a template.

Step 5) install he Bushes in the lowerhull, install idlers on the eccentric.
With 4mm lock nut a combination of collet nose plate and the lower hull is achieved.

Step 6) Chain install and adjust / tighten according to their taste and handling

very important ...... this system can be adjusted from the outside, the upper hull must not be withdrawn

I think that should be enough, if there be any questions pleas let me know.

with kind regards,Guido ;)
