TARR Mk. I smoker combined with Mega Steam

Post by dgsselkirk »

Hi Guys,

got distracted from my Panther build as we have a battleday coming up and I wanted to get my ZTZ-99A ready (Thanks MichaelC) as we installed an FPV setup and laser for "painting" targets. After I got that done I have been dying to try my Polish TARR Mk. I smoker with some Mega Steam that I bought over Christmas. So here is the video!

Will shoot some video next weekend at the indoor battleday. Should be fun!

I told you guys that Mega Steam stuff smokes good! Also the more you use it the better the smoker will work. Just wish I could get one of those smokers over here to try out as the Super Smoker II turned out to be junk. Nothing like cutting corners in order to save a few pennies to fund your own stuff.

No problem, I thought you were in the states. Well I'm here in the Great White North of Canada so if I can get them by dogsled you will have no problem and like I said the freight is cheap. I got 2 of them here for under $50.00 U.S. :D So for less than $25.00 each I think it's a hell of a bargain... :D

Yes, that is just one of the things I like about it. I also like that down the road ( I hope far down the road!) when the resistor burns out 4 screws and you are inside to replace it very easily. Love the fill tube. It never made sense to me to pour new liquid down the tube that is trying to make smoke! So easy to over fill then you had to wait to burn off excess. This is much easier. It's a pretty large capacity reservoir too which is nice. The main outlet tubes on the smoker are silicone. Another great idea. They are flexible and makes putting in and taking off the extension tubes pretty easy. The tubes that come with them are a smaller diameter than the HL tubes so I just left an end piece on the tank outlets and put the new tubing inside them.
I have 2 of these smokers in 2 of my other tanks and while they did put out more smoke and had advantages over the HL I really wasn't going to post. I have been watching, reading, experimenting myself for almost 3 years about smokers, but once I tried Mega Steam with them I thought you guys gotta see this! So simple it's instant relief since it truly is plug and play...
