Commander for my m51 (now with paint)

Post by tomhugill »

I've finally got the figure (to be butchered in due course) through from auz. I'veade a start on repositioning him to fit in the commander cupola. Representing a commander away from the front line having a quick break.

Looks like you're off to a good start! I'm planning to do the same for mine in the near future.

Oops, sorry for that I can see how you got there. I meant "for mine" as in for my tanks, I have a Tiger and King Tiger. I've ordered crews for both thats what I was getting at but I didn't want to get your thread off topic. Sorry Tom. :{

Boy Tom ...you really got your work cut out ....your paint work is going to have to be extra good....that sculpt...not sure if it's the photos..it just doesn't excite me...it looks like the commander is kind of bored :haha: ....Now with that said...who did the sculpt on that outstanding Tiger driver :D

Hey alpha, could be the photo. IMO this is the best verlinden sculpt I've had, there's a load of detail and the face is very realistic. He even has a yarmulke!

Hi ALPHA I think if Tom nails his painting of that commander he could make him look like a guy who has "done to much and seen to much" a real challenge for figure painting don't you think.
