Rip off UK

A friend of mine in Australia has just purchased a Vantex Sherman...its got the 26cc petrol engine,....it came with a 2.4ghz transmitter/receiver, and ..free delivery from his local dealer...200 miles away....cost to him was 1754Aus dollars...which converts to £967 inc taxes,....here the same tank retails for £1400....do you ever get the feeling that we are being ripped off...

Not really we do very in the 1/16 market and you won't get a cheaper second hand tamiya anywhere else!
